Camber Castle – This wondrous castle was once an artillery fort and was built by Henry VIII to guard the port of Rye from any would be attackers. The castle is open to visitors but only for guided tours which costs £3 for Adults and is free for Children (ages 5-17). Please note there is no vehicular access to the castle so any visitors would need to walk through fields which are home to livestock.
•Action Watersports – Exhilarating fun for all ages in a safe and controlled environment. It features water sports such as water-skiing, wakeboarding, flyboarding, jet-skiing and stand up paddle boarding. You can book onto various day courses such as a water-skiing for beginners.
•Rye Heritage Centre – The Heritage Centre is home to a 1:1000 scale model of Victorian Era Rye that features sound and lights that aims to bring Ryes history to life for any visitors. The Old Pier Penny Arcade is one of the largest collections of pre-decimal amusements in the UK. If you are looking for an experience on the spooky side, there are Guided Ghost Tours of Rye available for bookings at £10pp at the Heritage Centre as well.
