How safe is my money once the holiday is booked?
UKBreakaways (Travelstyle) conform to all requirements relating to the EC Directives on Package Holidays. Any inclusive break which falles under the terms of the 1992 Package Travel Regulations will be protected by our financial bond.

Is it safe to book online?
Yes. We go to great lengths to ensure that our website is both enjoyable and secure to use.

Do you charge a credit card charge?
Yes. Unfortunately due to the high charges incurred we do have to pass on some of these to our clients. All credit card transactions are subject to a 2% fee. There is no charge for using Debit cards.

What happens once I’ve booked my holiday?
Once you have booked your holiday we will send you confirmation within 7-10 days. Please ensure you check all of the details and let us know immediately if something appears to be wrong. If you choose the convenience of booking on line your confirmation will be emailed to you immediately.

How late can I book accommodation?
We recommend you book as early as possible however we will do our best to accommodate you up to 2 days prior to arrival subject to availability.

Do you charge a single supplement?
Single rooms tend to vary drastically in terms of charges. Some hotels charge high supplements, some none. We have introduced a standard charge on all UK breaks in an attempt to alleviate this. All supplements are per stay (not per night)
1 night stays - £17 supp
2 night stays - £29 supp
3/4 night stays - £34 supp
6 night stays - £44 supp

Do I need Travel Insurance?
Whilst insurance is not compulsory on our breaks we recommend that some cover is taken to cover you in the event of cancellation. Ukbreakaways (Travelstyle) offer cancellation cover for your convenience however you do not have to purchase insurance through us. Travelstyle (Ukbreakaways) are an appointed representative of ITC Compliance Ltd which is authorised and regulated by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority). Travelstyle Tours Limited (Ukbreakaways) is an appointed representative of ITC Compliance Ltd which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (their registration number is 313486) and which is permitted to advise on and arrange general insurance contracts.

Can I make special/disabled requests on my booking?
We will gladly take a note of any Special Request and pass these onto hotels (except Supersaver/Pricebuster Tours); however we cannot guarantee that any request will be met. If you require any special request due to a disability please inform one of our Holiday Advisors who will ask a series of questions to ensure that we can meet your needs. In most cases these will be passed to our Customer Support Team who will liaise with the hotel in order to make your holiday a stress-free experience.

What happens if I have to cancel my accommodation?
Should you need to cancel your accommodation for any reason you must put it into writing as soon as possible and send it to our Customer Service Dept. we will then send you a cancellation invoice which will show any cancellation charges along with any refund due. In all cases deposits are non refundable. A scale of cancellation charges can be found in our brochure and on our website Booking Conditions. Depending on the reason for cancelling, cancellation charges (less excess) may be able to be claimed back via any Travel Insurance Policy you may have in place.

What time can I check in to my chosen hotel?
For customers travelling in their own car hotel check-ins vary but we advise check in after 4pm unless prior arrangement with the hotel is made.

What happens with regards the FREE ferry crossings to the Isle of Wight?
All of our accommodation breaks to the Isle of Wight include a FREE return car ferry for a car and passengers with Red Funnel beween Southampton and East Cowes. The crossing time is approx 1 hour although most of this is sailing through Southampton Docks, which if you are fortunate you may be able to see some of the fantastic cruise ships in port! The service is both frequent and reliable and after booking you will be asked for your preferred crossing times for both outward and return journeys along with some information about your vehicle. Your ferry details will be confirmed 7-10 days before your departure and will be sent by email (if provided) or post. Please ensure that you print a copy of your ticket as this will need to be presented to the Red Funnel staff at the terminal on check in.

How do I make a complaint?
Sometimes even the best laid plans go wrong. Should you have any problems whilst on tour, please report them immediately to your driver or the hotel reception. It is far better to try and resolve the problem than wait until you get back. If you wish to make any comments when you return, then you must do so in writing to our Customer Service Department at your earliest opportunity. We will then investigate and respond to you within 28 days.
