Coach holidays to Mancheser
Take a National Holiday’s coach break to Manchester and you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping. The Arndale Centre has many major High Street stores plus a food court with plenty of choice for lunch, you’ll find designer boutiques in King Street, plus a Selfridges and Harvey Nichols in Exchange Square. Deansgate, the main street through Manchester, has cafes and restaurants covering lots of different types of cuisine and just outside the city there’s also the Trafford Centre – a huge shopping complex of high street stores and a great choice of places to eat.
The Lowry was opened in 2000 and is the flagship of the regenerated area of Salford Quays on the outskirts of the city. The unique and striking architectural design makes the most of it’s reflective glass and metallic surfaces making it as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside. The Lowry comprises two main theatres staging anything from opera and ballet to musicals and children’s shows, with an art gallery housing the largest collection of L.S. Lowry paintings, plus a restaurant, cafes and bars with quayside terraces overlooking the Manchester Ship Canal.
